Chili Cook-off 2016 started off spicy!
8 creative Chili entries geared up for the competition!
The Mexican theme was felt throughout the afternoon; the unconventionally warm February weather in Toronto helped to boost spirits!
Thank you to Lone Star for coming out and providing some delicious tortilla chips and salsa!
Everybody tried the 8 chili dishes and ranked them according to their favourites!
Food, fun and social networking were had by all!
Some took the judging very seriously – as you can see Melisa lined up her chili tastings and deliberated who to pick as #1! All the chili recipes were unique, including a vegetarian option and ground chicken option, with delicious cornbread and dips all made by our caring tenants and friends.

Kajama Cruise Summer Social
We boarded the Kajama at 5:30 p.m. in the humid summer air to the sweet voices of the Waterfront Singing Ambassadors…
The Rostie Group and all the tenants and friends who joined us enjoyed sipping refreshing drinks, sailing along the Queens Quay Harbourfront. The Toronto skyline never looked better from out on the lake. It is a view everyone – Torontonians and tourists alike – must experience.
The crew on the Kajama were exceptional, getting some of us to help raise the gigantic sails and singing while they worked!
Everyone was surprised when the ship was back in the harbour docking, had it been 2 hours already?!?
A great summer social for everyone, thank you Toronto Waterfront, Kajama crew and The Waterfront Singing Ambassadors for being such an amazing part of our work community!

You know the call, as soon as you hear it’s a recruiter on the other end of the phone there’s a good chance that the first thing you say is “thanks, but I’m not looking”. Fair enough. The majority of the people we call are happy in their current role. But does that mean you shouldn’t take a few minutes to find out what they’re calling about?
