Cloud Sales Account Executive – Overlay

At this time, our client is seeking an exceptional seller of Cloud based solutions who is excited about driving growth of their fully managed solution and partnering with other sellers on the journey. If that is you, come be part of this exciting team!

They are looking for someone passionate about helping their customers and prospects adopt PostgreSQL in the cloud. You will be joining a team of experts, including fellow Cloud Sales Reps, Cloud Solution Architects, and marketers, to drive adoption of this industry leading solution.

This Cloud Sales role is responsible for driving sales with a growing sales organization to expand revenue with target customers and prospects in your territory, partnering with sales reps and technical resources.

100% focused on driving fully managed PostgreSQL solution sales in North America Bring and share your expertise in selling cloud based solutions Train and mentor our excellent team of sellers on how to maximize Cloud selling opportunities Target 1600+ customers and new prospects Partner with sellers to identify, develop and ensure deals close Partner with technical resources including Cloud Solution Architects and SEs Develop and manage pipeline to ensure opportunities progress effectively and timely Work closely with regional VPs to ensure opportunities progress smoothly Build and execute thorough, complete and effective account plans as needed Build strong C-level relationships resulting in growth opportunities

Requirements:

10+ years of consultative cloud enterprise software sales experience, selling to C-level executives Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work within a team environment to manage and close complex sales-cycles and purchases Highly motivated and goal oriented Travel required up to 25-50% (when safe to do so)

Relational database experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, & SQL Server)
