Our client is a leading provider of SaaS solutions that empower companies to take payments securely, adhere to strict industry governance, and remove their business from the significant risks posed by non-compliance and data loss. They are integrated to, and resold by some of the worlds’ leading business communications vendors, as well as major payment service providers. They are currently looking for a Director of Sales to be their first local hire in the region, as part of their plans to establish a team as they seek to increase their proactive sales drive into Canada. They have a number of well-known customers in Canada, as well as partnerships with some of the leading communications providers. The successful candidate will be based in or near to Toronto.

To be successful in this role you will be experienced in selling enterprise software or cloud services, both direct to strategic accounts and through business partners. You will unlock revenue by identifying and driving growth opportunities through our clients new and existing partner and customer network in the region. This role carries a mix of individual contributor and leadership responsibility requirements of an early stage hire in a new territory. Once the business is established, the team will grow and you may assume responsibility for leading the sales function in country. You should have a proven track record in sales, and with aspirations for leadership. Experience of SaaS is critical, and it would be beneficial if you have experience of any of our clients industry touch-points including business communications (CCaaS / UCaaS), fintech, or cyber-security.
