Front Desk Agent / Business Development, Toronto

About us:

The Rostie Group

is a flexible office provider and event venue located in Toronto’s waterfront neighbourhood. We provide full-service executive offices, flexible workspace, virtual offices, meeting and training rooms, as well as hybrid meetings.

At this time, we are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our growing team.


This role’s duties will include but are not limited to:

Client services:
  • Front Desk - be the first points of contact for new and existing clients
  • Assist with other duties around our office spaces - i.e. printing, sending out couriers, answering phone calls
  • Organizing, sorting, receiving, and sending out our clients’ mail
  • Welcome our clients’ guests
  • Ensure our administrative services are carried out - ordering office supplies and maintaining relationships with vendors
  • Reserving our meeting rooms for our clients
    Sales / Business Development
  • Learn the business of renting office space, meeting rooms, virtual offices, coworking, lead generation, etc.
  • Assist our sales team in regards to office and meeting room showings
  • Take the lead with potential walk-in tenants and clients to our facilities
  • Up-sell our services to tenants and meeting room clients
    Social Event Coordination
  • Work with our team to plan periodic community-building social events and on-site client activations
  • Collaborate with our team to come up with new ideas for community events

    We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has outstanding communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Has an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. Someone that enjoys working with clients and gets along well within a team environment
  • Has some form of past sales/business development experience
  • Has experience holding a front desk/receptionist position
  • Is well organized, detail-oriented, able to plan ahead, and can get ahead of potential issues before they become issues
  • Has a team-player attitude
  • Has an outgoing personality
  • Eager to learn new skills
  • Has experience with technology

    This position requires flexible hours, as starting times will vary.
