About the client:
The client is a Cyber Security firm that provides a variety of security-focused services to their clients, including security training, internal and network security assessments, along with a variety of security-focused tests, such as penetration and phishing. Additionally, they provide security-focused network projects, such as routing, firewall, wireless, email security, MDM, MFA amongst others.
Position over-view:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cyber Security Account Executive! In this role you will focus on finding, developing, and closing new business opportunities within enterprise customers and prospects. The successful candidate will be strongly self-motivated and outcome-driven, with a proven track record of managing and closing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately. Focus, qualification, prioritization, and organization are essential skills in this role. You will be experienced in exceeding quota; you’ll be hungry to overachieve and be well compensated for doing so.
Core Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets, actively prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within the cyber security sector
Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers, C-level executives, and IT professionals in target accounts, comprehending their cyber security needs and challenges
Conduct comprehensive needs analysis and effectively communicate the value proposition of our cyber security solutions to potential clients, positioning our offerings as the ideal choice for their security requirements
Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the features, benefits, and unique aspects of our cyber security solutions
Address customer concerns and objections adeptly
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and solution architects, to create comprehensive and customized proposals that align with client requirements and objectives
Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, up-selling and cross-selling additional products and services when appropriate
Provide exceptional customer service and support
Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline using AutoTask and CRM software
Provide accurate forecasts and regular updates to sales management
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the cyber security industry or a related field, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong MSSP Industry Knowledge
In-depth understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and trends
Familiarity with common security frameworks and compliance regulations is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to proficiently manage complex sales cycles, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution selling, negotiation, and deal closure
Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions, translating them into tangible business value for clients
Self-motivated and target-driven, consistently achieving sales goals and objectives
Collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with internal teams to ensure client success and overall business growth
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, quickly adapting to changes and proactively overcoming challenges
