At this time, they are seeking an Outside Sales Manager in Canada - ideally Toronto or Ottawa but the position can be based anywhere in Canada.
Identify & Generate new business through analysis, review, persistence and existing relationships.
Help us find new customers and new market opportunities. Business Development!
Help identify Sales process gaps and provide solutions for improvement.
Design and develop an internal Resale Solution.
Work with existing teams (Account Managers) and customers to open new lines of revenue.
Recommend programs to enhance sales, and resolve performance or efficiency issues for customers.
Maintain up to date and consistent knowledge and understanding of company services & solutions.
Deliver customized presentations to clients, interpret and reinforce the company’s value proposition
Demonstrated ability to understand scope of services (pricing, supply, contract terms, …)
Provide timely updates and define on-going strategies to work with the customer in mind.
Build and deliver appropriate reports, ensure proper mitigation of risk. Get ahead of the pitfalls & roadblocks.
Degree and/or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Science or an appropriate combination of related experience.
Self-Motivated as there is a significant amount of autonomy.
Proven experience in Sales – beginning to end. Lead generation to closing.
Excellent relationship skills – Inside & Out: Team, Cross functional, and Customer focused.
Energy and commitment to solve last minute issues and customer demands.
Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Previous account/sales experience with products and/or services in defense, telecommunications or an electronics manufacturing environment
