Federal Government Account Executive – Ottawa, ON

Our client, one of the top leading services organizations in Canada - known for providing superior service to their clients is seeking a Federal Government Account Executive in the Ottawa area.

This position will allow you to manage the business development by selling IT solutions, technical services and products into Shared Services Canada (SSC)and its partner organizations while providing the highest possible level of service.

Responsibilities: Develop and drive new business within Shared Services Canada (SSC) and its partner organizations. Build senior level relationships in order to develop growth towards key account status. Focus on Data Centre, Network and Security Solutions Sales - hardware, software and system integration services. Successfully promote and sell services as a full service, value added IT systems integrator. Meet/exceed required sales targets in both the product and services environments. Maintain and develop a high level of knowledge of new technology and the company's products and services. Demonstrate a high level of teamwork in all activities. Work effectively and cooperatively with Inside Sales, Administrative and Technical teams. Educate business partners on customer requirements.

Qualifications: Competitive adeptness in establishing and developing accounts, business savvy, a strong customer focus, self confidence, and an ability to manage business relations. Experience selling Data Centre, Network and Security Solutions into Shared Services Canada and its partner organizations. Must be able to provide executive level presentations and written proposals. A proven ability to develop long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with large accounts. Able to think both Tactically and Strategically. Proficiency with complex solutions is imperative.
