DevOps Engineer (AWS Deployment)

They ingest, analyze, transform, and visualize data from various sources to produce the best and most in-depth weather products for their global customer base. They are looking for a Linux Cloud Engineer to join their team to:


Responsibilities

  • Operate and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services), utilizing AWS services such as, AWS VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EFS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ACM
  • Lead in CI/CD pipeline management
  • Oversee and manage containerization and infrastructure deployment
  • Set infrastructure guidelines using best practices
  • Plan, monitor and implement solutions that assist in controlling cloud infrastructure costs while ensuring high availability.
  • Manage and create metrics and tooling for development teams to have visibility into their applications

  • Requirements

  • Experience architecting, planning, and deploying applications on cloud platforms
  • Linux system administration
  • Networking in cloud and hybrid environments
  • Containerization technologies like Docker, Docker-Compose, etc.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Packer, and Terraform
  • Experience with Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience using Git and Version Control
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and spoken
  • 4+ years of Hands-on experience with deploying, configuring, automating, and testing Cloud solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
