Account Executive – Service Providers

Our client, a Canadian supplier of networking equipment and integrated solutions is seeking an Account Executive in the Toronto area.
In this position you will sell open networking solutions and services - Data Center, Wired and Wireless Networks, etc - to Service Provider clients in the Greater Toronto Area.
They are currently seeking:
A Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
A History of Sales achievement in the Telecom industry selling Networking Solutions
Experienced with and understands how to navigate Canadian service providers / telecom companies
Is able to grow market share by developing new & building on existing business relationships.
Meet with customers & partners to discuss needs and position solutions.
Leverages the company CRM system to track sales engagements in order to ensure high sales activity and effective closing ratios.
Manage a territory using both technical and sales skills
Stay informed with current technology trends in the Networking space.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports showing potential and closed opportunities.
Creates and communicates tactical and strategic initiatives and forecasts aligned with the direction of the organization and divisional objectives.
Experience: A technical degree (or equivalent) and minimum of five years previous strategic, outside sales, account management experience in a related industry.
